Construction of padel court in Lille (France)
The French city of Lille hosted the Davis Cup tennis final between France and Switzerland.
On the occasion of this tennis event of worldwide interest and taking advantage of the large influx of public and media to the sporting event in Verdepadel we have taken the opportunity to build a padel court in the main square of the aforementioned French town, near the border with Belgium.
The new padel court has been very well received
The installation of the padel court has caused a sensation among the citizens of Lille and the visitors who are flooding in this weekend to watch the Davis Cup final.
One of the most illustrious visitors was the mayor of Lille, Martine Aubry, who was a former minister in Mitterrand’s government.
In the words of the company responsible for the construction of padel courts: “Verdepadel has always put all its efforts to publicize and promote the exciting sport of padel, first in Spain and now in the rest of Europe, starting with France”.
